Our point of view

A little mischief.
A lot of belonging.

Nook & Nuzzle is a new independent publication about sharing small homes with cats, dogs, and their very different personalities. Nook is our self-assured cat; Nuzzle is our enthusiastic dog. They represent the two sides of a home that makes room for everyone. Our focus is practical: where things go, what earns its floor space, and which changes are easy to take with you.

Start with the home you have.

You do not need a picture-perfect apartment or a wall of expensive accessories. We start with everyday routines, your pets’ preferences, and the constraints of renting. Our free planner turns those considerations into a starting checklist and equipment budget.

Be clear about the evidence.

Launch articles are AI-assisted, research-based editorial guides. They are not written or reviewed by a veterinarian. We link to relevant welfare guidance and manufacturer sources, and distinguish published specifications from our own practical suggestions.

Our product selections have not been hands-on tested. We do not invent scores, customer testimonials, lived experience, or claims that a product is best for every pet. When we publish hands-on testing in the future, it should describe who tested the item, how, and for how long.

Show what is real.

Our cat-and-dog portraits, apartment concept, and illustrated mascots were created with AI. They are editorial artwork, not readers’ homes or evidence of product testing. Product images identify the specific manufacturer items discussed; image rights remain with the respective owners.

Buy thoughtfully.

We explain limitations alongside potential uses and encourage readers to check what they already own. Regional availability, prices, product versions, and return policies change. Always check the seller’s current details.
